Adaptive Cruise Control – XF (X260)

The Adaptive Cruise Control system for the XF (X260) is designed to deliver a safer, more relaxing driving experience on highways and in traffic. Unlike traditional cruise control, this advanced system not only maintains your set speed but also automatically adjusts your vehicle’s pace to keep a safe, pre-set distance from the car ahead.

When cruising on the open road, Adaptive Cruise Control ensures consistent speed without the need for frequent adjustments. If a slower-moving vehicle enters your lane, the system gently reduces your speed to maintain a safe following distance. Once the road clears, your XF (X260) will smoothly accelerate back to your chosen speed.

In slow-moving or stop-and-go traffic, the system provides additional peace of mind. If the vehicle in front slows to a stop, your XF (X260) will automatically come to a gradual halt. With a simple press of the accelerator or cruise control button, your journey resumes effortlessly.

By reducing the need for constant braking and acceleration, Adaptive Cruise Control enhances comfort on long drives and helps minimize driver fatigue. It’s an intelligent feature that blends convenience with safety, ensuring every journey in the XF (X260) is smoother and more controlled.
