JLR factory‑navigation operation depends on three components: compatible IMC infotainment hardware, valid map‑database files, and correct CCF navigation‑domain feature‑flags. The CCF controls navigation‑menu visibility, region‑code settings and internal routing permissions inside the IMC module. This service handles OBD‑based CCF modification to unlock navigation‑feature flags and correct regional‑configuration parameters. Map‑database files are deployed via approved USB‑transfer workflows; this service provides technical validation before‑and‑after map‑file installation. Post‑configuration‑write, controlled IMC resets are performed to apply changes. This service cannot add navigation to vehicles missing physical IMC navigation‑hardware. Full roll‑back can be achieved restoring the backed‑up original CCF file.

Vehicle, Hardware & System Prerequisites

Map‑database files are customer‑supplied via official‑JLR‑map‑download‑channels. Host‑system requirement: Windows 10 / Windows 11 64‑bit PC with valid SX‑TOOL JET‑Master licence. Use J2534 pass‑through‑adapters for older CAN‑bus‑vehicles or Enet‑WiFi / Type‑C‑Enet‑cable‑hardware for DoIP‑platform‑vehicles. Stable regulated 12 V‑battery‑supply is mandatory for CCF‑write‑cycles and IMC‑resets.
