Auto High Beam Assist (AHBA) for the Jaguar XJ ‚ X351 adds convenience and
safety to night driving by intelligently managing your headlights. The system
automatically switches between high and low beams depending on road
conditions, ensuring maximum visibility without dazzling oncoming or
preceding traffic.

Using the twin forward-facing camera system located at the top of the
windscreen, AHBA monitors ambient light levels and detects other vehicles’
headlights and taillights. When the road ahead is dark and clear, high beam
is activated to give you the widest possible view. As soon as another vehicle
is detected, or when street lighting improves visibility, the system
automatically reverts to low beam.

This seamless operation reduces driver workload and helps maintain focus on
the road, enhancing both safety and comfort during nighttime journeys.

Please note: For AHBA to function, your vehicle must be equipped with the
twin forward-facing camera system mounted in the upper windscreen area.
