Lane Keep Assist (LKA)
When the vehicle drifts unintentionally out of the lane due to driver distraction, fatigue or inattention, the system actively intervenes by applying smooth and precise corrective torque to the steering wheel, gently adjusting the driving direction and helping the vehicle return to the center of the lane.
This effectively reduces safety risks caused by lane straddling or unintended deviation.
If the driver does not take manual control or provide any intervention, the system will perform three consecutive intelligent steering corrections to maintain the proper trajectory.
After the third correction, the system will send a clear alert signal and then automatically deactivate, preventing excessive intervention and preserving the driver’s primary control of the vehicle.
This function is often integrated and used together with Adaptive Cruise Control.
In scenarios such as highway driving and long-distance commuting, it effectively reduces the driver’s workload from frequent steering adjustments and speed control, delivering stable and intelligent assisted driving performance while comprehensively improving driving comfort and safety.
