4.Pathfinder Offline Unlock Solution — No TOPIX Land Rover Account Required

This package includes one set of Pathfinder system offline unlock authorization (supports versions V371 / V372 / V374), enabling offline operation of Pathfinder on 2022 models without logging into a TOPIX account.

If you have not installed Pathfinder, we will provide Pathfinder V372 and SDD V162 system image files after order payment.

This package does not include remote installation technical support. We will complete the system unlock remotely, allowing offline operation of V371 / V372 / V374 on 2022 models without TOPIX account verification.

5.Pathfinder 2022 Software Compatibility

Pathfinder 2022 is the only JLR diagnostic software compatible with the new vehicle architecture, supporting all 2017 and later models (including Range Rover / Range Rover Sport L405 / L494 and subsequent new architecture models).

In addition to 2017 and later new architecture models, the DoIP VCI also supports communication with 2014–2019 Multi‑CAN architecture models (see compatibility list below).

Models before 2014 and not listed above still use the existing diagnostic system and corresponding VCI devices. 1998–2009 Land Rover models are fully compatible with the T4 Product Platform. The T4 Mobile Plus system software supports Windows XP and Windows 10 operating environments.

How to update JLR VCI for future software versions?

JLR regularly releases device driver and software updates to expand functions and fix on-site issues. Driver and software updates are managed uniformly by the diagnostic test application and can be installed automatically as required. If exceptions occur during device use, please first confirm that the latest device software and drivers are installed.

10.DoIP VCI Device Installation

Pre-installation Notes

Pathfinder must be used with a DoIP VCI device to communicate with 2017 Range Rover L405, Range Rover Sport L494, and New Discovery L462.
When using Pathfinder, the DoIP VCI must be the only VCI device connected to the JLR certified diagnostic device. Future Pathfinder communication updates will be published in the TOPIX activity stream section. All repair workshops must be equipped with DoIP VCI devices.
The DoIP VCI is the only JLR officially certified VCI device that can communicate with the above 2017 new architecture models.
The following steps apply only to the first-time installation and use of the device. After initial setup, the DoIP VCI supports plug-and-play with Pathfinder software.
