Function Description
The Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go is an original high-level active safety driving assistance feature. Different from traditional cruise control that only maintains a fixed speed, this system adapts to various daily driving scenarios, including highway cruising, urban slow traffic and road congestion. Relying on the vehicle’s original radar and body control system, it real-time monitors road conditions and the driving status of the vehicle ahead, intelligently controls the following rhythm, and automatically maintains a standard safe following distance. It eliminates frequent acceleration and braking operations, greatly simplifying daily driving.
During driving, the system dynamically adjusts the vehicle speed according to the leading vehicle’s movement. It keeps the preset cruising speed steadily when the front vehicle travels at a constant speed. When the leading vehicle slows down, brakes temporarily or comes to a full stop, the host vehicle will automatically decelerate, brake and stop synchronously with smooth and seamless switching.
