How Feature Activations Work
Modern Jaguar Land Rover vehicles are built on modular platforms where many features share the same physical hardware across trim levels. The difference between a base model and a fully-loaded variant is often just software configuration. Our activation process uses OEM diagnostic tools (SDD/Pathfinder) to reconfigure your vehicle's electronic control modules, enabling features that are already present in the hardware but disabled at the factory.
Driver Assistance Activations
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
Maintains a set speed and distance from the vehicle ahead. Available with Stop & Go for traffic jam assistance. Works with steering assist on compatible vehicles.

Blind Spot Assist
Mirror-integrated warning lights with steering correction. Detects vehicles in your blind spot and actively steers you back into lane if you begin to change lanes.

360-Degree Surround Camera
Bird's-eye view camera system using multiple vehicle-mounted cameras. Essential for parking and low-speed manoeuvring in tight spaces.

Clear Exit Monitoring
Warns occupants of approaching traffic before opening doors. Uses rear-facing sensors to detect cyclists, vehicles, and pedestrians.

Rear Traffic Monitor
Detects approaching vehicles when reversing out of parking spaces. Provides visual and audible warnings with automatic braking if necessary.

Ambient Interior Lighting
Full cabin ambient lighting with configurable colours and intensity. Available on MY23+ Range Rover Sport, Velar, and Discovery. No additional hardware required.

Approach the vehicle with the key in your pocket and simply pull the handle. Hands-free tailgate opens with a foot gesture under the rear bumper.

Automatically selects the optimal driving mode based on surface conditions. Monitors wheel slip, steering angle, and throttle input to adjust differential, suspension, and throttle mapping.
